Before the Day begins 

I was granted a new day, a new start. Thank God. The start of the morning

Feels familiar but is never a promise. So, I bake in its presence.

I bathe in her rising sun that warms my skin and smile at the light as it kisses my eyes.

I feel the vibrations and rumble of my loved ones preparing for their start before navigating the world outside of our home.

I give the highest praise for this experience. For it is truly a one in a lifetime.

every cycle of life.
