ECHO's Community Letter
Hello everyone! Welcome to ECHO, a community letter rooted in my shareable lessons, photos, videos and memories from the greatest lesson I've learned from this month.

Authenticity
Authenticity is choosing quiet joy over a performance.
This month, let alone for the last couple years, I have been trying to cultivate and understand what being my truest self looks like. It's been more of a challenge for me considering I've been a people pleaser since the day I could remember opening my eyes.
Now I have a new set of them that want to explore all things Septina. From what she enjoys, hates, likes and dislikes. To the skills she's amazing at and the skills she should never pursue, like singing.
In all seriousness, I am still learning on how to show up in spaces being a hundred percent myself. I know that people carry a specific light into a room that can't be replicated, therefore, I want the ability to protect my own.
I'm determined to realize the facade that kept me comfortable for so long, no longer serves me. i will no longer be embarrassed for the way I laugh, If I'm too much for a room, If I am too loud, If I'm "too much" of anything.
I am authentically me, and I will continue to honor that for as long as I practice it.
