If a bag could talk: 2026 what’s in my beauty bag?

Here is dedicated to the embody page, a lighthearted and fun blog on what’s in my beauty bag?! If you were so curious to know, my bag consists of all the cosmetic products I use on a daily basis,  from products I’ve been obsessed with since middle school to others I have used and loved along the way of my makeup journey. 

On second thought, I think it would be unfair if I spoke for someone else…. When I can let her do all the explaining. 

that “someone” being Sophie! Sophie, my beauty bag (and yes, SHE has a name). Sophie is perfectly capable of sharing the personal items in the bag that she holds. In fact, she is known to drop some beauty wisdom and give you some tea on me. So, before I let her take away the rest of the blog, I must give you a proper introduction to Sophie and what she represents.

Age: 7 months old

Vibe: Classy, affordable, resilient, messy, pretty, fun

Weight: she’s sturdy, that’s all you need to know

Sign: Cancer

Dislike: When foundation spills at the bottom

Like: When she is fully clean from within. 

Hello Echo voices! My name is Sophie, Septina’s personal beauty bag, but you’re not here to hear about my life or how she treated me, but you’re here to know what I hold inside! Most of the time I carry beauty items that are light coverage to buildable foundational products, perfect tools to achieve a glowy natural look, and may I add I am the perfect medium for a pick-and-go trip. Meaning if you usually don’t have enough time to sit in front of a vanity, then I’m your girl!

Blush

Septina uses this as her “base” blush to achieve her signature blush look. Fortunately, blush blindness is her favorite look. It’s so beautiful on the skin itself, especially if you’re going for a natural sun kiss glow look. Absolutely a favorite! 

Concealer 

Before I mention this concealer, you will see a theme of affordable products in her collection. However, her Estee lauder concealer is worth the price by far her favorite and she doesn’t plan on trading it out any time soon. Although, her favorite beforehand and is a little more affordable is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, Chefs Kiss.

LIP

Super buttery, smooth, and tasty! Septina cannot stand a sticky, overly scented lip balm but these formulas are just right. Unfortunately, Septina has lost her signature lip combo because she’s moving from her hometown to her apartment. However, I have it here for you!

• Nyx lip liner- Copenhagen
• Sacheu Lip stain- Clover
• Elf lip balm- strawberry shortcake

• Primer 

With complete honesty, Septina is still looking for a primer that she will never move from but she’s just not there yet. Despite that, through trial and turbulence, she’s loving this current primer right now.

2. Eyes 

• This mascara no lie, no exaggeration has been her my rotation since 2015 and has not let her down yet. Sincerely I have no other words for this other than go buy it! Haha in all seriousness, Septina tried others and they nothing has come close to this mascara, but this will always be her #1!
• Highlighter 
• If you know, Septina, you know that’s her signature! No matter what time of day if you pop a little highlight in the inner corner, now you look awake and gorgeous! It’s her favorite eye makeup other than mascara. 

3. Powder

• Blush

Let’s put it like this. There has never been a time where she has worn this exact blush and has not gotten compliments, it’s that pretty! It’s a beautiful duo of two shades of pink. It truly looks radiant upon her skin.

• Powder (Loose) 

If it wasn’t for this powder, her face potentially could have turned into an oil tank…Oh!..too much..ok? Anyways, it’s so smooth and gives a filter-like look, truly obsessed. The loose and pressed fit me go hand in hand.

• pressed Powder 

Just like mascara, this powder has been her lifetime for decades. Amazing for the under eyes, not cakey, and blends plus builds gorgeously. 

• Foundation Stick

Septina prefers for her skin care to shine through, giving her that glowy effect and soft makeup. but She enjoys the foundation when going out for the night or just wants to add a little more for her day.

Overall, with all the beauty tools in me, Septina does her thing and her makeup routine and ends up looking like this! Thanks for having me echo people and back to the voice behind echo.
